Improving Integrated Language Skills in English Language Learning

This article examines the importance of improving integrated language skills in English language learning. Integrated skills instruction combines listening, speaking, reading, and writing in a unified learning process that reflects real-life communication. The article discusses the theoretical foundations of integrated skills teaching, effective classroom strategies, challenges faced by learners, and the role of innovative technologies in language development. Furthermore, the study highlights the significance of communicative and learner-centered approaches in enhancing students' overall language competence. The article concludes that integrated skills instruction promotes meaningful learning, improves communicative competence, and prepares learners for authentic language use in academic and professional contexts.
