Abstract

This scientific article investigates the clinical and biomechanical significance of palpation—a classic objective method used in diagnosing inflammatory (neuritis, radiculitis) and degenerative (neuropathy, axonal degeneration) diseases of the peripheral nervous system. Even in the era of modern digital technologies (MRI, ENMG), the role of tactile sensorics and signaling performed through the physician's hand, the sensitivity of Valleix and Garre points, and alterations in the thickness and elasticity of nerve trunks have been analyzed. The article includes the results of a prospective clinical study conducted on 124 patients, formulas for elasticity and tactile signal modulation, diagnostic efficacy tables, an introduction, methodology, an in-depth scientific discussion, and a bibliography compliant with international standards.
