Cultural Sector Reforms in the New Uzbekistan

Abstract

This article examines the reforms implemented in the cultural sphere during the period of the New Uzbekistan and analyzes their significance in the development of national musical and estrada art. Special attention is devoted to state policy in the field of culture, the activities of the institution “Uzbekconcert,” and the contribution of prominent cultural figures and performers to the formation of modern Uzbek musical culture. The study also highlights the role of Botir Zokirov and the institutional reforms aimed at preserving and promoting national cultural heritage within the framework of the Third Renaissance policy. The article demonstrates that contemporary reforms in Uzbekistan have created favorable conditions for the modernization of artistic education, the support of young talents, and the strengthening of the international prestige of Uzbek musical culture.
