Abstract

The article analyzes the synonymic series expressing intellectual ability in the Uzbek language on the basis of frame semantics. The research examines the cognitive, evaluative, and conceptual characteristics of the lexemes aqlli, dono, zakovatli, donishmand, ziyrak, and farosatli. Particular attention is paid to the relations between the core and peripheral units of the synonymic series, the activation of intellectual scenarios, and the reflection of mental perception in literary discourse.
